Monty’s Custom Biothane Dog Harness is made to order for your dog or puppy. I started making these for my own dog, Monty, (see pictures) wanting a harness that was easy to use, keep him safe and comfortable being light, and of course stylish. I made them adjustable when he was a puppy, still growing and then dropped some of the hardware needed for the adjustable breastplate, and left the girth adjustable. There is a Ring on top of the harness as well as on the front giving you a choice of where to attach the leash. This really helps with a pulling dog. Think of a backwards breeching basket!
Stainless steel horse hardware, like halter snap and halter ring, are used making this harness not appropriate for small dogs under 20 pounds. **The weight of the hardware and Beta is too heavy for little dogs.***
Biothane will not stretch, fade, or absorb sweat & dirt. Made with stainless steel hardware or brass upon request. All pieces of this harness CAN BE adjustable and independent of each other.

Many colors, widths & weights are available as well as matching leads.

Monty, aka, “Montegue Fox Gapper Pierce”, was my best friend and sweet little bulldog. I purchased him for my Mom (who I thought might move in with me but decided to move by the grandkids – of course). So here I was with an 8 week old English Bulldog puppy. I hadn’t had a dog for 30 years. Monty trained me well and captured my heart and constant attention. He became my service dog with professional training and lots of love. Unfortunately, I trusted an unscrupulous Veterinarian and his staff at a major Veterinarian Hospital in Maitland, Florida, to do a routine surgery to help with his limp (he was only 3 years old). Long story short, they (the Veterinarians and staff), completely dropped the ball, refusing to help him (even with my pleading), resulting in him suffering and dying in my arms at home within the hour. If interested in specifics, do call me. WARNING! Always check reviews (Yelp, Google, Consumer Reports, and many others), BEFORE entrusting so-called professionals. BEWARE that there are companies – for hire, that will DELETE negative reviews on these sites – eventually.
Monty’s Harness will be used to help educate and warn others of his plight and to help rescue dogs. ALL proceeds from our dog products to be used to help dogs and the organizations that do the same.
